The Albuquerque Museum will be exhibiting new work from December 14, 2008 through March 3, 2009.
A presentation entitled “A selection of my work from the 1990’s to the present: Artist Residencies from Costa Rica and Spain to Main, Mexico and Omaha” was given at the 25th Annual Conference of The American Society for Aesthetics in Santa Fe, July 11-13, 2008.
Two carved, painted wood pieces were exhibited in a show entitled “Serial Boxes” at the Hahn Ross Gallery in Santa Fe, June 20-July5, 2008.
The painting, “Los Poblanos Pond” was
exhibited March 1-29, 2008 in the invitational show entitled Giving Shelter at 516 Arts in Albuquerque. Giving Shelter is an exhibition of local, regional and national artist who explore themes of safe shelter, refuge and sacred space.
As a former Roswell Artist-in-Resident recipients, Jane exhibited new work at the Roswell Museum May 18, 2007 through January 2008. This exhibition celebrates the 40th year anniversary of the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program.
During the months of September and October 2007 Jane was invited to be Guest Artist at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in Omaha, Nebraska where she worked on a series of paintings reflecting her unique take on the Midwestern experience.
Jane was among twenty invited artists working in the five state area of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Texas who were participating in an exhibition sponsored by the Warhol Foundation at the New Mexico State University Art Gallery in Las Cruces, N.M., August 17th through October 2007.
